Frequently asked questions

Is sales tax charged on the full price?
In most US states, the trade-in value is subtracted before tax, so you only pay sales tax on the difference. The calculator does this by default.
Should I roll fees into the loan?
You can, but financing fees means paying interest on them too. Paying fees up front keeps the loan smaller and the total cost lower.
How does the loan term change the payment?
A longer term lowers the monthly payment but raises total interest. A shorter term costs more per month but far less overall.
Is this financial advice?
No. These are estimates to help you plan and compare options. Your real figures depend on your lender, taxes and personal situation, so check with a qualified professional before deciding.
